Today A New Day

Today I am in a pretty good mood, some of the issues that have concerned me recently have been resolved and I can now feel pretty good about all things. Next Thursday is Thanksgiving day and I believe I will be spending the day with my family at a friends house, which is okay with me. I hope to get some new photos to post I am sure I will. The weather has been cool if not just plan cold so needless to say I have not had a chance to ride my motorcycle. Oh yeah last weekend I took my seven year old son bowling I think he really like doing things with me and I like doing these things with him he is such a joy.

I am rethinking my approach to my hobbies, projects and endeavours as I would like to concentrate my efforts on something that means alot to me as far as my creativity is concerned. I have considered just recently to give up my studio my wife believes that I should hold onto it. I know I should but it is such a cash cow that I am having a hard time paying the rent and it is not like I am making any money to support the studio, but nonetheless I am going to give it another year or so, lets see if I can utilize the space and maybe make something beautiful happen. Anyway here is photo of my daughter.

At Work

At the moment I am sitting in my cubicle at my job not doing much at the moment . I am the only member of my team that is in today, but thats okay. I have been astonished to see how people are reacting to our new president elect. I work in a diverse work place, since the election of Barack Obama as our 44th president u would think that there would be a lot more discussion about what this might mean to everyone. On the contrary it seems that only the people of color are talking. I don't know could people be so astonished that this happened? I am not that suprised about it really because the conversations for the most part between whites and blacks in my workplace are more superficial and never seem to be about more than a bull session. At any rate I always feel that a lot more engaging conversation could help a lot and bringing a since of comraderie to my place of work but who am I. Anyway here is a photo of my motorcycle.

Election Day 2008

This election day was one that will go down in history for the obvious reasons. But as I head into the day I pack my D200 and my S2pro hoping to snap some photos that well reflect the days events. But first I must make a stop at my brothers house to give him some money. As I was headed home I thought that I might be able to snap a few photos of people going about the business of the day...the vote. Here are a few of the images that I was able to capture. Although my plan was to travel throughout the city capturing images of people working the polls, canvasing the streets and just doing their part in the voting process, I was only able to stay out for a couple of hours.. U know family and work obligations
