Hittin' the slopes

As you all may already know this past weekend in the Philadelphia area we had a record snowfall with accumulations in some areas in excess of 20". So I hit the local slopes with my wife and my son, here are the pictures to prove it.

Today is a good day.....

Hey, It's a good the sun is shining I got up this morining my family for the most part is healthy and I am just lovin' life. Not sure if mentioned this before but my lil girl graduated from college with Bachelor of Science degree of which I am very proud. And she just got her first job within her field of study and I say that is good for her she's a good kid and deserves all that life can give and I am sure she will persue life with gusto. Also my son just past his test for his orange belt of which he is very proud I could see it on his face when class was over and he came running down the stairs with his broken board in hand. He is doing well in school I believe it has to do with us deciding that the spanish emersion his school offerd was probably not right for him. Now he is able to read and understand his homework and do it without much help from anyone although we are always there for him. And as for my brother well things are much the same we are trying to find a place where he can get assisted care on a long term basis, we will see.Any way here are some images

What I have been up to?

Lately I have been trying to take more photographs utilizing my studio and going out and photographing artist and people who are out and about and also performing on the local underground. I have been doing some interesting things in the studio like I am doing more matting and framing of my work and trying to take pictures of more models. Not trying to shoot traditional portraits but images with a little bit of the ordinary and the interesting. I have been shooting this one model who I like working with you will soon see some of the images that were taken during our session. I am trying to compile some or the more interesting shots as soon as I do I will post. I have also gone out lately to shoot underground hip hop and punk also this new thing called afro punk. I brought my video camera along on some of these shoots and will also post video once the edits are complete. And you know that I am riding my bike as the weather has been fantastic. I 've been riding to work on the ShurKill Xpressway and it has been a blast so far I have only been riding to work but I will eventually take this show on the road.
